What on earth is it about? I seem to confuse it with Armageddon but I dont think it is anything like that at all.
Firstly is it any good and secondly what is it about?
Might be my next impulse buy.

The sound of my wallet being closed and a blank tape eminating from its sheath.

My mistake.
Why do you keep saying "Hi Bell" everytime you quote one of my posts? It makes you look, well, retarded...

Fully agree. Its a war film using "Heart of Darkness" as a framework. I've seen this movie countless times, and love it each and every one.
Not bad, but the redux version adds like another hour or something. By the end I wanted to dice up my own organs in a blender.
Decent. Nothing special, just decent.
Horrors of war, loss of mind when exposed to the brutal heart at the centre of man - the reality of mankind if you will (i.e we're all essentially evil'), 'I love the smell of napalm in the morning', surfing and miniguns, Ride of the Valkyries, Playbunnies (Redux I think) and Platoon style fights in places.
Well, that's what I got from it. Epic and very very very dark.
And the best opening shot/music ever. Not sure why.
