I know there is some way of updating your internet explorer but I'm not exactly sure how. Anyway it would help massively if you could give me some pointers.

I know I have XP pro, but which thing?

It's horribly complicated.

Try these. They don't require windows update

Don't forget to remove the spaces!

I'm afraid I can't do a Windows update, because my Windows is Unlegal (through no fault of my own), so is there just a way I can get the Internet Explorer stuff, not the windows stuff?

If using XP you should be on:

6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
Update versions:; SP1; Q832894; Q330994;

In that case there will be some updates for you.

Start > All Programs and Windows Update from the top of the menu. It searches for them all and tells you what you need.

Version: 6.0.2600.0000.xpclient.010817-1148

Update Versions: 0
