I want to know as I've found two m/bs' for the same price with comparable features, is either better than the other?

If I remember right, a while back I found one going for about £50, If I can't find that one again, I'll go for a cheaper 5.1 creative PCI card.

Yeah... it sounded good, and I didn't have the money for the DFI jobey. I'm getting a better Creative 7.1 PCI soundcard anyway, so having good motherboard sound is just a bonus, allowing me to hold off on that purchase 'til later.

Oh and it's worth noting that the NF7-S has been completely superceeded by the DFI NFII Ultra Infinity in all departments.

Same quality

Drop the either. It has onboard sound. And it's great.

Maybe once.

You've made the right choice for the money. Only the NF7-S and DFI NFII Ultra Infinity are better than this (2nd and 1st respectively).

You might have been better off with the NF7-S, which has decent sound and SATA on board. But if you don't need either of that then the NF7 is a spectacularly good motherboard, probably one of the most highly talked about motherboards ever made

Good board. Its got a large installed userbase as well, handy if you run into trouble.

Due to money constraints, I've gone with an Abit NF7 v2.0 nForce2 (Socket A) Motherboard which cost £50, £58 with one day delivery.

Even though I've already ordered, opinions on the board are welcome, after all it's nice to know whether or not you've wasted your money!
