To me that's generalising.

If he was generalising, he'd have said, "Oh, a Man Utd fan moaning, like they all do", or something along those lines.

But no. He singled out one particular fan, therefor it's not generalising, is it?
If there's only a singluar involved, it can't be generalising.

That comment to me says that Man Utd fan's moan about getting harshly treated.

We don't all moan bout getting harsh treatment nor do we do get harshly treated all the time.

Lakersrule was commenting about the Man City player who did the same and got away with a lot less, where in that is he saying that Rio was harshly treated and where in that did any other Man U fan say that United got 'Harshly Treated'

Why don't you change the bloody record and think of something reasonable to say for a change?

If you can't do that then I suggest you concentrate on you're own team and try and find that miracle to save you from being relegated.
