Isn't the end of the human race the ultimate goal?
What I mean is, if we were all wiped out in an instant, and the human race was made extinct just as quickly, wouldn't that be the best thing to happen?
Think about it.
No more worries, just a planet left to rot.
That's the only impact we've had on this world.

No not really. No one is missing out on anything because we will all die.
Well, it didn't matter whether the human race only was destroyed or whatnot, because you're missing the point.

It would be the best thing to happen - In the next million years or so after being wiped out, the environment will improve and new life could become stable again. That is along as no Natural Disasters happen.
