Isn't the end of the human race the ultimate goal?
What I mean is, if we were all wiped out in an instant, and the human race was made extinct just as quickly, wouldn't that be the best thing to happen?
Think about it.
No more worries, just a planet left to rot.
That's the only impact we've had on this world.
The Earth's condition has only been disintegrating more and more since Man's Arrival.
We vainly believe that earth needs us, but often forget that the earth survived very well without us for billions of years.
If we get wiped out, and the earth remains intact, it is reasonable to assume that life will once again re-assert itself in the distant future. It's a tough old boot the earth.

You missed the point.
It's as though you tried to hit the point with a clump of hair fired from a slingshot made entirely out of matchsticks, whilst also being swung round by the feet by a one-legged ogre, who is mentally retarded.
Why would I find it half exciting if we were all to get wiped out?
