But now we seem to buy DVDs all the time, collectively we have just under 200 DVDs now and we buy atleast 1 DVD a week as a family. (we used to rent a lot but we dont anymore and the nearest cinema is 30 minutes drive away). I guess it is good news for the television and film industries. Anyone else noticed that they're buying more DVDs than they did VHS?
My recent DVD purchase was Donnie Darko Prism Edition. At a very nice price of £4.99 to encourage those who wouldnt have bought the film otherwise, despite having no special features. It's a very interesting and unusual film nothing like I've seen before.
I also pre-ordered a DVD boxset. Most of you are too young and would probably confuse it with the awful Matt LeBanc movie that came out years ago. It's the Lost In Space Series 1 boxset. 8 DVDs, 31 episodes, a collective running time of 23 hours and 42 minutes (possible marathon attempt?) At a nice price of £39.99 "DANGER! DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!"
Anyone else buy anything on DVD lately?
MoF looks very good, saw a few trailers while out in the States.
So bad news for those who already own them all and good news for those fans yet to own them.

Woah! How the hell did you get it so cheap? I paid £13.99 for them EACH. Jeebus.
Will watch it tonight.

Picked it up this morning
On October 18th I think they're releasing a boxset with the first 4 series together, entitled Part 1 so the other 4 will be part 2.
Amazon have it £26.24 hopefully people didnt buy all 4 at RRP for £79.96 or Play.coms price of £12.99 each as that's still £51.96. A big £25.72 more expensive.
I think all the extras are the same, not sure whether all the discs are grouped together or if they've just bundled the first 4 volumes together and selling them in a box.

Anyway it looks like not rushing and getting the series has paid off, so we'll likely get this when it comes out. Anyone else interested?
Phone Booth/Speed/The Seige triple box set thingy.
I haven't used Movietyme yet. They seemed a bit expensive for the titles I was looking at. Though DVD Review rekon they're really good.
Couldn't help myself when I saw them cheap.
