I'm just posting this to tell you that I'm considering commiting suicide sometime during the next week or so. I've seriously got nothing to live for anymore, my girlfriend literally ran off with my best mate on Wednesday, and I've been questioning all sorts of thigns about my life. I'm thinking I'm best off just hoping in some sort of afterlife and going through with it.

Have happy lives everyone.

I have to say I am very disappointed in some peoples' comments in this thread, some of which Timmargh pointed out in his post.

I'm sure you have plenty to live for Nash, your vision's just a little clouded at the moment because you're feeling depressed.

Every person, no matter who they are, has a reason for living.

I'm not reading this whole thread, no doubt it has a lot of slagging off in it. But anyway, Nash, nothing to live for? The SR picture of you and "those" sunglasses says otherwise.

Sorry about your lass, that's harsh.

It seems I've arrived here after all the fuss has died down, but there are still some things I want to say:-

I agree completely. Ms NY: you say the nicest things sometimes.

Never heard of "putting up a front", or "repressing your feelings"?

a friend of mine hung himself yesterday.

if this is a "give me attention" post then it's about as low as it goes.

on the other hand, if you're serious, then don't do it, take the frustration and turn it into an incentive to go as far as you can in life, to succeed and show her what she missed out on.
i've thought about it as well but c'mon, which is gonna be more satisfying? letting people get the better of you or beating it all one thing at a time until you KNOW you're better off.

Well, Nash, you can hand that PhD back now.
We all know the 'unusual' circumstances you obtained it under.

That happens all the time. Thats why most suicides go ahead, because someone, perhaps without knowing, drove them to it.

Hahaha.
Nice backtracking.

What would you have done if your 'kidding' had pushed someone over the edge and made them top themselves?
