10 launch games. Non rip-off £79.99 price tag and the promise of true 2D and 3D gaming - with 32bits of LCD pushing power. Let Nintendo capture the nation's hearts once more - the most important sequel of all time is about to enter your life!
I can't wait for the GBA Tony Hawk's 2 - one of the best games on any format, is about to embark on the highest ever sales it will see in it's life thanks to the immense popularity of the GBA and this superb game!
We soon won't need to imagine performing all those amazing trickswhilst sitting on the bus, or waiting for the bus - train journeys need never be so boring again! 32 bit action on an excellent LCD mini screen. Why have 'portability' with a PSone and a £100 4 inch screen, when Nintendo are about to let a true portable games machine loose into Europe! And at only £80? That's quality!
So, with link up play for 4 players, and the ability to use the GBA as a Game Cube controller (offering lots if compatibility with that too), I can't see how anyone could possibly be disappointed with it.
It's small, it's light and it'll fit in your pocket, outlive every other console and probably outsell the 130million selling Game Boy original.
June 22nd is the day guys.
Thanks!
Dan
(Silenced all the feminists, AND managed to prove an age old stereotype. God bless Nintendo.)
We could ship them to the third world and use them as bricks to build housing.
So SR should start this 'Hand in your Handheld' scheme, whereby everyone swaps their GB for part exchange towards the GBA, and then SR puts all the old GB's to good use.
What that use would actually be I have no idea, but there must be a use for all those redundant GB's that are going to be knocking about.

But everyone wants to be part of an actively new and lively living community and Nintendo are about to offer just that. With the N64, I feel people are getting fed up of waiting 3 months for the next game to be released, so the GBA will definitely (take note people on how to spell definitely) bring with it a breath of fresh air!
Keep the discussions going guys!
Actually, if Nintendo can work on a 4 player link-up Ready 2 Rumble 2, then I'd get that again too!
