Yep, the title is a bit obvious, but I can see Nintendo stealing the sales way from the PSone and from everything else for that matter. It's less than 3 months away now, so get counting the days because this little piece of Japanese madness is about to take over your life!

10 launch games. Non rip-off £79.99 price tag and the promise of true 2D and 3D gaming - with 32bits of LCD pushing power. Let Nintendo capture the nation's hearts once more - the most important sequel of all time is about to enter your life!

I can't wait for the GBA Tony Hawk's 2 - one of the best games on any format, is about to embark on the highest ever sales it will see in it's life thanks to the immense popularity of the GBA and this superb game!

We soon won't need to imagine performing all those amazing trickswhilst sitting on the bus, or waiting for the bus - train journeys need never be so boring again! 32 bit action on an excellent LCD mini screen. Why have 'portability' with a PSone and a £100 4 inch screen, when Nintendo are about to let a true portable games machine loose into Europe! And at only £80? That's quality!

So, with link up play for 4 players, and the ability to use the GBA as a Game Cube controller (offering lots if compatibility with that too), I can't see how anyone could possibly be disappointed with it.

It's small, it's light and it'll fit in your pocket, outlive every other console and probably outsell the 130million selling Game Boy original.

June 22nd is the day guys.

Thanks!

Dan

What do you mean 'when Sniper gets his driving licence'?

As if those figures could be there without him?

I'm sure 1 in 8 is way off. I think that's the figure released by the gay community isn't it? Bound to be a little exaggerated. After all, women claim 96% of road accidents are caused by men, and that can't be right....can it? ;)

Humm... are there more gay men gamers than female gamers?

(Humm... about 1 in 8 men are gay, and about 1 in 10 gamers are female. I think. Perhaps less.)

How did you know that?

(I... I'm not sure.)

Yeah, and we're still supposedly playing Street Fighter! Has Capcom learnt that Street Fighter just doesn't sell anymore? They seriously have to change the name to Motorway slugfest or something! Oh, and an update of gameplay and graphical enhancements would be nice!

But in regards to the original topic (or something along those lines), the Game Girl DID feature colour did it not? But what female gamers actually bought one? I bet more men bought the GG than women.

What I love about the gameboy is what it has achieved. I remember back in 94' (give or take a year or so). CVG did an april fool with a gameboy running Street Fighter 2, in colour.

"It'll never happen" they said next month. How wrong they were..
