Yes, but the ones you listed, fawlty towers, red dwarf, and classics like Only Fools and Horses, they are all well past their prime. They were good at the time, but BBC cannot master comedy now.

And those are just the recent ones. I could go back and say Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf etc. Most of the great comedies are BBC ones.
