An eBay auction which ended two weeks a go for a series of PS2 games that I was selling. The c*ck who purchased the games promised to pay every single day until an email I received this morning telling me to "forget bout ebay etc I'm not paying". So I contacted eBay only to find he has actually left ME negative feedback. I gave him 7 extra days to pay and his excuses ranged from "you didn't receive a cheque because I am sending cash" to "I didn't have time to pay you so I didn't bother". I swear if someone put me in a room with that nob I would paint the walls red with his blood. He also wants to take it further as he believes I have used foul and abusive words towards him, little does he know I have saved all the emails and am currently in the process of contacting eBay and thinking of taking legal action against for accusing me of "lying" and for leaving bad character reference on the basis of his incompetence to use a system properly.
Complete smacktard!
Very peed off at the moment!
File a non paying bidder alert, ignore all his emails, 10 days later you can claim your fees back, and if he gets a total of 3 or more non paying bidder claims against him he gets knocked off eBay. You can then get the feedback converted because he is a non registered user.
I am seriously considering taking it further,
> purely for the principal and the amount of my time he has wasted.
So, you'd be willing to waste even more of your time, not to mention your money on him?
I just hope they retract the comment about him telling others to "avoid at all costs, one of the nastiest eBayers". I have been nothing but patient with the time he requested to gathe funds and I have sat through 6-7 emails telling me "payment is on its way."
If they take the negative feedback away I will be satisfied to block him from my auctions and put the wind up him a bit about the legal advice. However if not I am seriously considering taking it further, purely for the principal and the amount of my time he has wasted.
You could do this guy for defamation if he left lies BUT that will cost you, and even then eBay will only remove the comment and not the negative.
Welcome to the realisation that eBay feedback system sucks.
