I just remembered a psychologist saying;
'One is never one or the other, one moves up a down a scale, fluctuating near one end more than the other'
Or something like that
Hmmm. My brother is apparantly gay. I personally don't think he is, but he does. You have to know him to understand...
Meh.

Have you read the various theories that there is a genetic factor to homosexuality?

I believe that most people are bi to a greater or (predominately) lesser degree. Society however frowns on this and so we're pressured into hetero behaviour. That's the theory anyway...
The 'Not Natural' argument is a pretty flimsy one, because under the same logic one can argue that a shedload of mankinds achievements aren't 'natural'. I wish people who have a problem with homosexuality could just admit that it makes them personally feel uncomfortable, rather than trying to apply a justification to a subjective bias.
'That's like so, just like, a straight attit-ude'.
Nobody said it was like a virus, just there is, somewhere along the line, a change in the emotional/mental makeup of a human. Not for worse, unless for some reason a naturally vehement homophobe was also naturally gay...hmmmm.
I personally, cannot see the attraction, and nobody is denying that two gay men can love each other as much as a hetero-sexual relationship, despie how unusual that may seem. However, environmental/social conditions are not the only factor either. When you are growing up, one usually plays with children of ones own sex. And most people aren't gay. So there is some thing in the mind that is evidently different.
For instance, all blue eyed people are deformed, because the natural colour is brown. OH MY GOD?!!! I just insulted a blue eyed person (I have the most lovely dark/sea blue eyes, dahlink), with the word 'deformity'.
Muh.
I agree,it just doesnt seem natural.
Don't tell anyone though, it's a secret.

Heh. Wanna discuss instances of homosexual behaviour in the animal kingdom? Failing that, can I ask you why you're not currently living on an African Savvanah eating only raw meat and living in a cave? Since we're talking about what is natural, I thought it seemed only fair...
