Armin Meiwes gets eight years for manslaughter. Hmmmm, he places an avert in the local, gets a reply from Bernd Juergen Brandes who he then murders in a premeditated way.

Doesn't matter if it was concensual on Brandes part, its still murder as far as I'm away.............

Anyway, I can't speak about German Law, but under UK Law then I'd say this would have been murder. There was a case called R v Brown, where a bunch of blokes engaged in consensual sadomasochistic sex, yet were still done for GBH.

I would recommend everyone read the judge's opinion in the Court of Appeal for R v Brown; he recounts in explicit detail just what those chaps were getting up to. Anyone who gets through it without wincing is superhuman...

^ ^ ^ This is Germany, no Radio 2 for them. He would have to listen to
'RADIO HITLER SPIELEN'. He'd have to have been a fascist for some man to eat his schnetzel.
