Cryed?

For me, it was about 2 hours ago. Yes, go on, mock me, a 16 year old bawling his eyes out. You know why? My dog had to be put down. My life-long friend and family pet had to leave us, after 15 years of life, it was her time to go. We felt it was right in a way, she was suffering from blindness, deafness and arthiritis, so the vet agreed it was time.

I couldn't go to the vets because the place was too small for a family to fit in, so I had to say goodbye to Poppy before she left, she seemed happy enough and was confused as to why I was so sad.

May sound a bit poncy to some, but it felt good to cry, kind of lets it all go, from an opened bottle.

I think dog/cat owners would understand in a way, losing a pet is like losing a family member, they have a place in our lifes and we accept them as a sister or brother.

Anyway, when was the last time you shed a tear. . . . ?

sorry about your dog man. I have never had one but from hearing of others that have and have lost one its like losing a member of family.

Its not sad you cried. Not at all - plenty of guys do and would of if it'd happened to them. Its terrible that guys feel ashamed to cry. y cousin is terrible sometimes a guy needs to so much but you can see it tearing away inside when they keep it in.

So dont

That goes for me to...

I am my own therapist

Ah, that's totally understable. Sorry to hear about it. Course you're gonna cry, she's been with you for 15 whole years! Grew up with her! ;)

Aww.. Condolences. It may be only a pet, but I have had my dog since he was 4 (he is now 13) and in that time I have became very attached to him, and would be quite distraught if he passed away. I honestly can't remember the last time I cried. I'm not a "hard lad", but I seem to have an emotional dry spot when it comes to mourning and tears. I am quite disconcerted about this however, as supposedly it is a condition linked to psychotics... Anyway, hard luck about your dog. :(
