For me, it was about 2 hours ago. Yes, go on, mock me, a 16 year old bawling his eyes out. You know why? My dog had to be put down. My life-long friend and family pet had to leave us, after 15 years of life, it was her time to go. We felt it was right in a way, she was suffering from blindness, deafness and arthiritis, so the vet agreed it was time.
I couldn't go to the vets because the place was too small for a family to fit in, so I had to say goodbye to Poppy before she left, she seemed happy enough and was confused as to why I was so sad.
May sound a bit poncy to some, but it felt good to cry, kind of lets it all go, from an opened bottle.
I think dog/cat owners would understand in a way, losing a pet is like losing a family member, they have a place in our lifes and we accept them as a sister or brother.
Anyway, when was the last time you shed a tear. . . . ?
We got a kitten instead. She's cute, but can't replace my dog, no chance.
It is heartbreaking to have to make the decision to put a dog down. For months we kept hoping ours had passed away in it's sleep so we didn't have to make the fatal decision.
... and I couldn't cry at the vets as I had to drive home and the time before that I started hyperventilating.
I'm sorry for your loss. Despite all the pain will you get another? We said we wouldn't as we couldn't go through it again but I now have a German Shepherd.

Bless, I have a cocker spaniel. They're too sweet!
Last time I cried properly must've been about 4/5 years ago. I really can't remember. I did however, cry when my brother smacked me on the nose with a shoe (he had a hold of the laces and swung it full pelt). But that was because (as anyone knows), whenever you get hit hard on the nose it just instantly bursts your tear ducts for some reason. I wasn't in pain, or particularly upset, so it was a bit confusing as to why it was happening!
My eyes also water pretty badly when I yawn, too. So on a day when I'm really tired, I sometimes get strange looks from people. It's pretty funny.
Our family dog died last August at 16 years old - we all cried at some point.
I've had my dog for just over 2 years now and couldn't imagine life without him.

Oh, and the last time I cried was on New Years Eve - a friend died back in July and I really missed him :^(
The last time I cried was probably November '02, when my dog had to be put down. He was a fantastic dog and I was really close to him. I stood there and stroked/hugged him while he went - looking into my eyes. One of the toughest things I've gone through.
why must life be so unfair?
And to top it off, My brother went to Jamaica for 2 weeks yesturday.
*shakes fist*
