It will be an entirely new game.
Now the question is, will it work in conjunction with the GameCube version?
Imagine taking Samus on a few side quests whilst sitting on the bus, getting home and uploading her newly aquired items and strengths onto your GameCube game! Wouldn't that be fun!
How about using the GameBoy Advance as a tracking device whilst playing the GameCube game. Think of the film Aliens, with the little dots and the beeps as the enemy grows closer. You can tell from your tracker that the enemy is close, but why can't you see it? Suddenly it bursts through a wall, you jump out of your seat and the tracker beeps like crazy. You've got just enough time to compose yourself, and fire at it like crazy, before another one bursts in!
The GameBoy Advance could easily be used for something as basic as this, and it would add to the atmosphere of the game no end.
I really hope Nintendo take advantage of all of the possibilities here!
That damn Shigsy and his better brain. Damn you brain. Damn you.
(Don't blame me for your intellectual patheticness, I'm just here to keep you sane.)
And a damn fine job you're doing too.
(Am I right to sense sarcasm?)
Yes.
(Thought so.)
