The war was fought because Iraq was weak, and America was big and Britain tagged along to get a slice of the profit that will be made from exploiting the country in years to come. There are ways to justify the war, just saying that Saddam Hussein was an idiot is enough, he killed many innocent people and posed a threat to the people of his country (NOT Mandkind) and deserves anything what happens to him in the near future (Death!).
