yeah, he kinda ruined the character with all the hype, although when he was on last year (Ali G in the USAiiii), he was still on top form.

The problem is he broke the golden rule - don't make it accessible to a universal audience. If he kept it restricted to his TV show, and a few guest appearances, he'd be a lot more popular.

He's a very intelligent bloke though - he has the ability to make anyone believe he is stupid, when really he is manipulating them for all to see.

Don't get me wrong, he had me in stitches at times, but the whole movie/taking it to USA/music video stuff just made me sick of him.
