I just finished watching trainspotters and damn it was good.
So it made me wonder all english made films that I have seen are bloody brilliant so what about american films?
Are they all quantity over quality?
What other films have you seen that are not from england or america that are brilliant?

well said - although you missed out : "British people are better than american people"
because there is less money in the english film industry the funders have to be a lot more selective about what gets made,whereas in america they will throw money at anything with guns in it,and real storytelling usually gets left behind.
