Anyway, here it is (respectively);
Red Morning Light - Kings of Leon - This will disappear when I get the album probably. Top quality song is this.
River Boogie Woogie - Jools Holland - Crap name, but phenomenally played. Hence the Jools Holland thread I made, where we can all pray to him together.
Promises Promises - Cooper Temple Clause - Possibly one of the... strangest band names I've come across. Discovered this song from FIFA '04, and only recently "accquired" it.
We Used to be Friends - The Dandy Warhols - I'm getting bored of this now, although is seemed like a good idea at first. Infact, I'm going to delete it. So by the time you've read this, it will be non-existent, and this thread will be out of date.
Layla - Do I need to say who? - Excellent. All that needs to be said really.
Vegas Two Times - The 'phonics - Superb song, probably one of my faves on my list.
Maybe Tomorrow - Phonics again - Nice, mellow-like song. Like it more everytime I listen to it. There's just something great about it.
Bad Love - Clapton again - I lovvveeee the solo-ish part towards the end. Top quality song.
Come on Feel the Noise - Slade - EVERY playlist should have a Slade song, and probably this one too. This song has a superb solo, probably enough to rival with the best, although it isn't really known for it. I'll upload it sometime for you to hear or something.
She Sells Sanctuary - The Cult - You see the song title and think, "Soppy crap", then you see the band name. They level each other out really. Pretty good, upbeat tempo rock song. Nice.
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac - Thanks to GP for this. Well known for its guitarry bit at the end, when it was used for F1 long ago. Another one of my faves.
In Between Days - Erm, God knows - I only have this for the intro. It's the one off that car ad. I'm going to make a topic about this soon actually.
*******
From then on, it's a bucket load of guitar + drumkit songs for practising me drumming - I just sit and listen and drum on my comp desk.
Oh, and my playlist is pretty much set up in the way that, when I "accquire" a new song, it goes to the top-ish. Then it gets deleted after a few days usually - eg, We Used to be Friends.
Just shows how good the ones lower down are then, eh?
And if anyone contests a single song on this list, I'll hit them. Apart from We Used to be Friends - slate that all you like - it doesn't exist anymore.
Empty 'Now Playing', then go through the tracks and click 'Add To Play', then 'Save as Playlist'.
Woot!
I keep meaning to set up playlists on my Zen, just never get round to doing it, or working out how..
Ever listened to Tony MacAlpine, Darren Householder or Stephen Ross? They are all pretty decent although less well known.
The Riddle is probably his greatest song for the simple fact that it is the fastest song in existence where he hit 20.8 notes per second at one point.
I can't agree with Gilbert as God. The current G3 line up is Vai, Satriani and Malmsteen. Although there is a chance he could become part of the trinity in future years.
Saw an old band mate yesterday. The one who did Eruption. He now owns a metal record shop. He sort of drunkenly formed a power metal band last week. So he was quite enthusiastic about that.
And once again he has long hair. It is like the 80's all over again. Happy days!
Azul needs some Zeppelin on this list.
I need long hair damnit.
Don't have Fire Garden Suite myself, I know my mate's got it, I'll try and acquire it at some point..Friends is the Satch track which sticks in my mind, as the last thing he played when we saw him up in Manchester, nice way to close the show =)
Oh, and Grix decided that Paul gilbert was God a while ago. Good night that was, hehe..
