When i got it however there were a few "changes" :
> Psychology will not be taught this year as the teacher of it is off on maternity leave and will not be back in time to learn the new syllabus that the SQA are enforcing this year.
D'oh!
> Media Studies will not be taught at advanced higher as there were simply not enough funds once they had been given to the sciences.
D'oh!
I need to take a minimum of 4 subjects to stay in schooling and instead of just having to pick one I now need to try and get 3 :( The thing that REALLY annoys me though is they have dedicated an entire column to sciences to make sure that they get students. (there are only 5 columns) They are protecting the sciences from getting a low intake and letting the arts be damned. They have even put some of the sciences in two columns to further protect them. Why couldn't Media have gone there?!?! For example Physics at Higher is in Column B and C. Just not fair to the more creatively minded. My school sucks :(

Britain is desperately lacking scientists and the schools are having to try and convince everyone that science can be for you...even though it's a complete waste of 90% of people's time; unless you WANT to be a Physicist, chemist or doctor there is NO reason to know ANY science, much less up to GCSE standard, as is compulsory now.
Err.
Yeah.
It's good.
