Is there a way of typing out the name of a bookmark (as named by the user) into the URL bar and Mozilla/ Firebird highlight the possible links as you type? In IE, say you named a bookmark "Doughnuts" with the URL www.food.com/doughnuts, just typing out the word doughnuts will highlight the link to the favourite/bookmark, and hence the URL. But in Firebird I have to type the proper URL for it to work.
Eg, type google.com and press enter:
Firebird goes to http://www.google.com.com/
Mozilla opens http://google.com in a new tab.
Which one is more useful? I wonder. Mozilla would go to http://www.google.com/ if you just typed "google" in the location bar anyway.

So does Firebird, so what's the difference?

Doesn't work for me... Hmmm.

Heh, must be Windows trying to manually slow down the competition then :)
So is it Mozila doesn't use the Ctrl Enter keyboard combo then, or is it used differently in Mozilla? Thunderbird completes a .com address for it, though it can also complete .net and .org ones too.
But they should realy do one for uk domains though.
If Firebird replaces Mozilla I just won't upgrade. There are functional differences between the two (such as ctrl+enter behaviour on the location bar) that I couldn't handle.
