Yeah, you read correctly, I'm dying. We're all dying. Our lives are ending one minute at a time. Our lifespan is but a blip on the scale of creation. What's 75 years when there have been millions of years of creation? We don't have enough time. You'd think we would realise this and make the most of the little time we have - we don't. We mope about like mindless zombies, following trends like communist brainwash victims, and working jobs we hate to buy material products that don't make us happy.

Ask yourself, if you died right now - what would you wish you had done with your life? Whatever the answer is, make sure you achieve that thing when you get the opportunity. If you want to try your hand at bungee jumping before you die, go and book it now - before you're too old. If you want to swim with dolphins - go and do that. Don't live wishing and wanting and then die without ever achieving what you want. Don't spend your life scrimping and saving because you could be hit by a bus tomorrow.

When you die do you want to die and be forgotten or do you want your memory to live on and know you've made a difference to the world we live in? I want to make a difference, to change the lives of others for many years to come. Be creative, express yourself and make sure of one thing - that when you die, you die fulfilled.

I want very little. All I want is to create one MASSIVE far-reaching thing. As yet I'm not sure what it is.

I know I'm going to have a shorter life span than most, yet I don't feel pressured into doing things I wouldn't normally do by it that often. It has changed one thing in my life though, I make an account of particular things I've done or said, and what others have done and said, every day that stick on my mind. When I'm feeling a bit down or not too well I look back at this and it usually makes me realise that I'm not insignificant at all. None of us are. We all play a role in the lives of people around us whether we know a person or not.

People have a notion that to be significant we have to pull off some great feat accomplishing something spectacular and be renowned for it the world over. That's not true at all. Something you say or do that seems so minor to you may mean the world to someone else, and I'm sure at some stage in almost everyone's life, they will have said or done something of this nature and probably won't have even realised it.

We are all insignificant, in the grand scheme of things.

But then again, that 'grand scheme of things' only exists in our head. Your own scheme of things is what you do. If you are happy, then you are fulfilled = there we go.

75 years (for example) is not a long time geoligcally, of course not. But in human terms, that IS a long time. And we are humans, are we not..?(Speaking from my point of view, not any animalistic nasty people)

In 75 years you can experiance things and do things that are your reason for being - I.e what you want to do. Other than just have sex.

Heh. Doesn't everybody believe they're special and that they're going to live forever? I do. Why? Because I'm lucky. :p

Whenever I say that, people think I'm morbid!!

Neither of those. ;) When I die, if I do, I don't want to be forgotten, but I don't want to be mourned over. Nor do I feel the need to be well-known for something big. I just want it to be a 'close' thing between me, family and friends.

Interesting topic by the way!

On the other hand, you might do the things you always dreamed of doing and find that they don't live up to your expectations. Like meeting a childhood hero and finding out they're a total git. What would you do then?
