Heylo people, I have got a date coming up and my partner wants to go to a club that is relatively gothic. Neither of us are goths though, at best my partner is a "trendy" who likes rock music ever now and again. Anyway I don't even like Rock Music...unless Nickel Back, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, The Darkness and so on count as rock but even then I don't think they'd play half of them.

So the question I pose you is what should I wear? I normally just wear jeans, T-shirt and so on but when I met my partner at this club a few weeks back I REALLY stuck out like a swore thumb. I have got an idea that I'll wear my Van trainers, baggy grey bernys trousers, a black quicksilver shirt and a black suede jacket. That's still really not gothic at all but it's a start...isn't it? Any advise appreciated :D

Hmm... You have to wear something really sad & sick, like a black T-Shirt with bleeding skulls, or a man pointing a gun at his head while he's in a deep pool of blood, stuff like that. At least thats what I think goths are like

Or you could just wear a goat's head on your crotch, with a small note on its head saying "I luv Marylin Manson".

*I don't mean to offend any Marylin Manson or goths or any of the similiar. I think y'all are kool.

OHHHHhhhh I just remembered a T-shirt I saw last week. It was just a dark green T-shirt with the words written in orange on the front "Aww...Cheer Up Goth" Lol I'm sure that would go down well :P

"I want to be different!"

Which is why they dress like all the other goths. Hmm.

Yeh, well we are meeting up before hand so we have the afternoon to decide where to go. Don't want to go to a bar dressed like a "trendy" (lets face it I would never wear goth gear) *shudders* I just hope my partner doesn't try and make a unilateral decision lol:S :D

Why don't yer just wear stripey rainbow-coloured flairs, a white t-shirt with the 'have a nice day' motif and dye your hair bright red. You will probably be the envy of the goth party, and you may even give some of them permanent retina-damage from the bright, colourfulness of your appearence

A goat's head. As a hat.

Or your partners head, for wanting to go to a gothic club. They're full of either suicidal people, or much bigger tossbanks who think they're cool.
