Called Homeworld 2

It's crap and it doesn't run on my 'brand new computer' as in the bestest specs every... needs some obscure graphics engine or whatever and what I did play the graphics are like an old X-Wing V Tie Fighter game.

Bah, so what PC game(s) should I get for £30?

Yes, shame that Creature Isles never really took off. And I really hope the sequel is something, but I haven't really heard much about it, while the first one had LOAAADSSS of publicity.

Thanks for that info, I came close to buying it and in fact was still considering it (the idea of a free roaming space shooter sounds good)

now that's silly. Combined with the rest of your PC, that graphics card makes the differece between your AMIGA competitor and the PS3's indirect rival.

well, EeekiE says that Nvidia bought them. At the time, Nvidia was floundering at the bottom of the charts, whilst the 3DFX reigned supreme, and the present leaders ATI were claiming middle ground. After Nvidia bought 3DFX, they suddenly shot to the top of the table. In a way, the Geforce was like 3DFX prototype, says EeekiE.

Nvidia was doing absolutely fantastic, up until the FX line 'took over' the geforce 4 franchise.
