It's crap and it doesn't run on my 'brand new computer' as in the bestest specs every... needs some obscure graphics engine or whatever and what I did play the graphics are like an old X-Wing V Tie Fighter game.

As far as the current generation of GFX cards is concerned, the 5200 FX / 9500 Radeon is low range. 5600 FX / 9600 Radeon is mid range (though 9600 performs much better), and 9800 Rad+ / 5950 FX are the best.

Well, for budget expect to pay around £50 to 70. You can play recent games on the lowest (or thereabouts) settings. Mid range (£100 - £140) and you can play the latest games on the highest, including Homeworld 2.
