Yep, I purchased me a guitar today, and it came with a little teach yourself book. Well, I;ve done al that already, and was wondering if anyone knew any good teach yourself sites.

No not really. I haven't been playing that long, and tabs are easy, I know all bout music theory from piano and GCSE music, but I can't read from music onto a guitar because I don't know the notes on the strings.

Yeah I always play my sisters' acoustic. I love the sound of an acoutsic guitar, dunno why ...just do

I can read tabs and I can read music (on staves) as well, so it doesn't really matter which one's I use. My finger's aren't that fast-moving yet though.

That was a side project.

Blink 182 are back. Yey.

As for the tabs comment - one of my friends thinks he is awesome on the guitar because he can play tabs, but he can barely construct a 3 chord song himself.

He's doing what you could train a monkey to do, and thinks he's class.

I'll give him one thing, though, he's got some fast finger movement...
