took a screenshot

www.david99.co.uk/green.JPG

basically the main window, address bar in Explorer/a Folder is a minty green instead of white, rest of the screen is OK.

Suddenly happended today, am using XP and can't seem to get it back to white, please tell me it's not a hardware fault :( and is a setting that needs sorting, though I hav searched around and can't find anything wrong.

Thanks

Or you could just password your logon. They won't need to log on to repair your computer. Attatch a covernote saying you don't want your private documents looking at. You could enable a guest logon for them and remove senstive entries from the start menu. Guests can't access \Program Files or \Documents and Settings.

yep it's still under warranty, just got to back up (and remove) certain files *cough* Kazaa *cough* then take it to Comet on Monday, DHL pick it up and take it back to Samsung, and I should have it back fully working in 5 working days, not bad (as long as it all goes to schedule)

I'd take it back. They'll send if off to be repaired probably.

In that case it sounds like it could be a ribbon cable in the hinge of the screen - probably worked loose by opening and closing. If that is what it is, it's probably not too dificult to repair, but I would get a professional to do it.
