Sometimes blood is a good thing, sometimes it's not. Depends if it distracts from the game. That's why Timesplitters 3's gore was appropriate.

I thought it was excellent, if a bit linear. Best of the series on a console. The opening Omaha Beach level is pretty amazing, although toned-down compared to the PC version.
