my dad just bidded for presumably 5 sony vaio laptops.

The description was Sony Vaio laptop £150 2.6ghz NEW YEAR STOCK
So we ordered 5 and the e-mail confirmed it

Underneath it was chatting about a book for £4.00 saying about these seizure gov't auctions

Have we done the right thing and will we actually get the laptops?

Cheers

Its not silly at all, you know what you are getting.

If you dont want to buy a hyperlink for £100 then dont bid.

The auction clearly states what is being sold.

"Please understand this is for information on places of where to buy cheap electronic goods"

He wont get his money back.

I read again and im really not sure. It says you get one thing then says you get another.
It's most likely the book.

If the picure is showing a laptop, and you dont get that product, then you can get a full refund as it is false advertising.

From what i read it is actaully the laptop you are buying. But there is no harm in trying.

Yep, you've just ordered 5 of these list things people post. It's usually of stolen goods that the police auction off or they're fake.
