What you doing for this oh-so monumental evening?

Partying all night and stumbling blind drunk into the new year, or sitting home and watching porno?

Discuss.

You think you've got it bad? I'm in with my parents and a friend of the family. Who is stealing my room. Meaning I can only watch my newly arrived Alien Quadrilogy films until a certain time before I have to leave my own room and go sleep in the attic when she wants to go to bed. Bah.

I would be going out, but not only have I failed to arrange anything (due to my being ill the last few weeks) but I'm also too ill to really do anything at all. Tonsilitus sucks.

Cream in the bed before-hand. She won't sleep there again.

God, I hate it when people steal your room!

That's what usually happens to me every time we have some kind of party - whetever the occasion - during the course of the year. I can think of at least FOUR times when it's happened to me, this year (thank God we're moving house in another 20-days!! :D ).

It's horrible... You have nowhere to go in your own home; nowhere you can call "your own". When it's getting too much downstairs, and you really want your drunk parents to just `dissapear´, you have nowhere you can just lie-down and hide for an hour-or-so. :(

Ah, well. At least that ain't happening to me, this year [sorry]. :)

If I'm that desperate, I could just go down the local pub, I suppose... Yeah, me and all TWO of the other people they get on a busy night, such as tonight! Honestly! You should've seen it on Guy Fawk's Night!! :S :o

I've had a couple of "lonely" New Year's, now, and they really do suck! When the clocks all go *BONG*, and you can hear everyone cheering n TV, you really feel left-out.... :(

Unless she is fine.

Then you can let her use your bed. Yes.

I got an average-ish new year planned.

Should be quite fun.

Solksjaer, come to Leeds, have a house party that you can come to if you likes.

I have a choice of 4 possible scenarios :

1) Go up town with one set of mates, spend a goddamn fortune, but really see the year off with a bang (hopefully literally aswell), but there is a chance that lot will be on substances other than alcohol, and as I have no intention of taking part in that, the evening may go down hill quite quickly.

2) Go round to a party another set of mates are having, which is ok but I get sick of spending all my weekends and special occasions sat in someones goddamn house.

3) Go to the local pubs with another set of mates, although pretty much all of them will be with their other halfs, meaning I'll be a right gooseberry and it might get boring pretty quickly.

4) Stay in and play XBOX.

4 isn't going to happen, as I'm dying to go out. So I'm torn between doing 2 then getting a taxi to 3, or 1.

She's about 70.

And I'm always the one demoted to the attic whenever we have company, since a) I'm the youngest and b) I used to have my bedroom in the attic anyway.

Still it sucks having to sleep up there since all it has is a tiny TV and my old 64. My widescreen TV, PS2, Sky and X-Box sit in my room gathering dust while I'm up there...

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
