Is there anything I can buy to make my dvd player play Region 1 (American) dvd's, like I know you can get those disks for the PS2 so you can play imported dvd's on them - but I dont know about actual DVD players.
it plays mpegs and mp3s and even has a jpeg viewer but I am convinced it doesnt have multi-region capibilites.

I think thats a hex code, you need to programme it into a universal remote, like a palm pilot or something.

I only use pl*y.com with their rubbish* sale on console games. Their Region 2 dvd's are well priced but the playUSA region 1 stuff isn't too great. Priates of the Caribean is £17 which isn't too great since by dad got it from Virgin in Leeds for £12. Hmmm.
