Just a short quote from an email sent by the missus' nephew - I'm not trying to outdo you or anything, just thought you'd appreciate it ...

"Had me CASCO out the other night. I think they should trail Tazer for all officers.

Just wait until you rise through the ranks of the police force, enter sharp shooting contests and become the best of the best...oh wait that was S.W.A.T . I get confused. Quick question though. Do you think the police should be armed? I do, i think they should all get guns just so they can inspire fear in all the criminals out there. Not to mention the fact that EVERYONE wants to hold a gun and say "Freeze mother f**ker or I'm gonna give you another hole to breath out of!" Nice.

I am now seeing the ups to my job. Friday night shift, down the town on foot patrol, get a call of 3 guys squaring up to 6 other guys, on of which has a bottle.

So, myself and about 6 other officers turn up, and a dog (cute), our presence stops any problems. We stay in the area to prevent anything kicking off again and some very nice looking girl decides she wants a chat with me.

I have a Saturday night shift now.
