What a band.

The pioneer's of metal, Iron Maiden still never cease to amaze me, and I think their music will still be listened to for generations and beyond. Why? Because they f*****g rock.

Number of the Beast, Run to the Hills, Ace's High - I never seem to get bored of this band!

Anyway, Who's got "Dance of Death"?

Oooh ooh (jumps around with excitment), tell me.

I've got a video of him doing Master Of Puppets (him and the rest of Metallica you see), I think they were supporting Ozzy at the time.

Don't know about pirate Maiden stuff, but I know where you can get a pirate recording of Metallica's last gig with Cliff Burton, before his untimely death from being crused by a bus.

If anyone finds any bootlegs of it, I'd be interested to hear them, from a position that I can listen from without my brains being blown out.

Yeah, I knew that already Nazi, if you get a live version of Run To The Hills, there's Bruce at the end of it saying something about some guy who was campaigning to get their music banned. Or something.

I just flushed the toilet and it really sounded very strange. And I can hear a really faint noise... To be honest, it sounds like it's coming from an empty crisp packet I've got here.

Strangely enough, when 'Number of the Beast' was released in 1981, people thought Maiden were satanists and it was almost banned. Fools!

Er, I didn't actually see you, haha. :D

Number of The Beast and Run To The Hills were the main two that people really got into, and a lot of people were singing Journeyman. Dance of Death ruled.

But the best bit was after they went off, just before Journeyman and everybody started stamping and clapping and screaming for MAAAIIIIDEEEENNNN!

They were just brilliant showmen and brilliant musicians.

Yes that was me you bast...
No don't worry, if you think I'm fat you need your eyes tested, I'm the complete opposite.

It was the drummer doing the strange growling sort of singing but not quite pulling it off, it confused me to start with, cos I could see the singer wasn't holding his mic up and the bassist was no where near his, but, after a while I realised the drummer had a headset on, and his lips were indeed moving. Guitarist on the right, was Janick, assuming you mean the one who kept swinging his guitar round and throwing it up in the air, and probably worrying a lot of people standing just below him.

Er, which songs were the crowd really getting into? I couldn't hear a thing except from the speakers where I was, I could just about hear myself when I was really shouting very much, so no chance of me hearing anyone else. I was kind of enthusiastic I'll admit that, I was singing along to Lord Of The Flies and getting it completely wrong (Haven't heard it in ages), but that doesn't matter :D
Oh and I could have kicked myself when Bruce goes on about how Cardiff were currently the best singers, and we'd have to show what we're made of on Journyman, because that's the one song on DoD that I don't know the words to. Most of it came back to me though. Actually I've just listened to it now and it really is still very muffled, but I seem to be able to hear words ok.

Eddie was great too.

I was right. At. The. Back. Very last row upwards, in the centre. Terrific 'view' and it was a testimony to the band that it rocked so much up there.

Oh it was the drummer singing?! Yeah, they were difficult to comprehend at times, but I did feel sorry for them when they kept on saying 'thanks for putting up with us' Haha. :D There was one guy, nodding to them the whole time (actually, the whole time, nod nod nod nod nod etc)

A bit more than tiny, but paltry all the same :D

If I couldn't hear well you must have been in static-nation.

Belly man - OO! I hope this wasn't you, but did you see the mega-person near the front. HUGE!

Run To The Hills ruled. The ones where the crowd got really into it were utterly brilliant.

The guitarist on the extreme right was class too. Excellent fun.

No, man.

I forgot to say that Adrian fluffed up a couple of notes in his Paschendale bits, which was nice because it showed he was still human.
