Any of you lot care to share your MP3 knowledge?

Having never owned an MP3 player, and now wanting one, i dont know a great deal about them, or what makes a good one. So if anyone could give me some examples/links to any good MP3 players out there, id be greatful.

Looking to spend up to £200 on one, with a fair bit of space to store my songs on it.

Thanks

I didn't know the Zen can store files as well (other than music) - not a bad device for backup!

It's a bad time to get a Mp3 player with Kazza lite going down the pan and regular kazaa starting to sue people in england, and Bit Torrent being really rubbish.

Depends on what kind you want.
Do you want one with just memory to store the songs or are you after one that plays mp3 CD's?

Also how many songs you looking to store on it and is size an issue?

At the moment I have the freecom player which has 64Mb + I have a 128Mb card in it. Its tiny so comes in very handy for the train journeys to uni etc.

But I want an I-pod. Loads of room for all my music and the look good and have some nice extras.
But they are costly, as are the other large memory space ones like the Zen Jukebox.

I'm sure others one here will advise other players, just have a look around for the best price.
