but the story is we have drawn two home nations, northen ireland and wales.
scotland got italy,
and rep of ire will have to take on the swiss and the mighty french.
in other news, holland, czech rep and romania draw each other, and group h looks widely open as any two teams can progress, except malta.
englands group is:
england
wales
northen ireland
azebijan
austria
poland.
england v wales.
its gotta be us, the english............
But they don't always fare well against the home nations. Scotland and Wales both beat England the last time they met. But unlikely to happen again.
Should be a breeze.
>we can beat anybody at home, but it is are away form that let us down.
Didn't you lot lose to Russia at home?
we beat them 5-1.
"we drew with argentina"
we beat them in the scorching heat.
and you welsh are use to awful weather.
england to cruise through.

England will win against the Welsh. Here are a few reasons why:
1- The German and Argentinian teams weren't at full strength.
2- The Welsh have lost to a lot of terrible teams recently.
3- The Welsh don't have as many 'star' players.

I beg to differ. He was an arrogant self-important nitwit, running about the forums claiming to be a 1337 |-|4><0R, giving everyone stories about stealing MSN passwords from children that didn't know any better. The fool was the epitome of modern internet witless buffoonery.
He got banned because he was, quite frankly, a t**ser.

Of course England beat Argentina.
Unlucky to get into Euro 2004? If you were a good team you'd have no problem getting into Euro 2004, the team has a lot of passion from its fans, then again so do Leeds United...

Ooooh nice bit of racism in your post mate. So all english people are scum? or is that just our football team?
Anyway you were unlucky not to qualify? Sorry did i miss something? Were you hitting the posts all the time? Did you get dodgy decision after dodgy decision made against you by the ref? No i don't think you did so enough of all this *we were unlucky* crap, you didn't qualify because you weren't good enough, plain and simple.
The only player that actually worries me in the Wales team is Giggs seeing as he's the only one that can cause some damage and maybe Earnshaw after he's been playing for a few more years when the qualification takes place. On paper the English squad is much better then Wales (you can try arguing that if you want but you'll be fighting a losing battle) so ON PAPER that's an easy group for England. Of course nothing is ever as simple in football but i will be expecting England to top the group without losing a game because with the squad we have we shouldn't be losing against teams like that (not if we want to win the whole competition anyway)
