Thanks for the most dull conference ever, Nintendo.

I know Nintendo is taking it a bit far with the Mario games but why on earth are EA making 2 Fifa 2006's for the X-box and 360 how would they make more money from that?

It's so vague. I'm quite tempted by the Xbox 360, but I think I'll wait before I buy it.

When's 'later' ?
Tonight? Tomorrow? End of the show? End of the year?

The only thing I wanted to see at the conference was the controller, and he gave it this stupid introduction and then said we'd find out about that "later". What a gayby. Then there was some blabbering about "interaction" between console/controller/internet/TV. Yeah, because those things don't already interact.

Nintendo's problem is that they equate 'different' with 'good'.

That was pathetic.

I bet they run out of bog rolls and washing-up liquid bottles, and had to send Reggie out to get some more.

Hardly working to get their place in the next console wars, are they? I mean, no-one's going to 'omg!1 Steal our ideaz m8!1' now they others have been unveilied. Get on with it - where's this amazing controller of yours?

Yes it was quite poor. A showing of some revolution games plus some proper information on it would have blown everyone away, I imagine. I think Nintendo have missed a golden opportunity to get people excited about their console and let the anticipation mount. As it is, they're already being overshadowed by Sony and Microsoft and they will find it VERY hard to pull themselves into the sunlight.
