Thanks for the most dull conference ever, Nintendo.

yes I'm not disappointed with the features that have revealed, I'm just disappointed they didn't reveal more and I think they missed a good opportunity.

This, however, still makes me laugh

PD0's graphics will be gorgeous I'm sure.

I'm looking forward to Revolution more now. It put some of my fears to rest that Nintendo were going too far the other way.

They couldn't muster it but that's their own fault, isn't it?

Sony have been sitting on PS3 stuff for years. Nintendo could not muster that.

Second of all why overshadow? Why not wait and show it themselves in their own time?

It takes over a year to make games yes, but graphics and so forth are the last things they change.

Perfect Dark 0 is due in 5 months and yet the graphics are still not up to scratch and has been criticised for it.

It takes more than a year to make proper fully fledged games, especially with new hardware.

Unless you haven't picked up on it, despite the fact that I've said it loads of times in 3 separate threads, Nintendo have mised a golden opportunity to capitalise at this year's E3 with a big Revolution announcement that would have overshadowed the other two consoles, or at least competed with them.

Ah yeah, it's almost as if the system is a year away.

What's the problem exactly?

Yes PS3 is set for Easter, whilst the memory company making the RAM for the Revolution said the console will get a mid 2006 release. The evidence points to Nintendo being last to the market - especially when coupled with the fact that they don't have any games or even a final console design to show.

Sony are aiming for Spring, Revolution is likely to be out later.

Yeah people are stupid for saying that they'll get another console just because they don't know anything about the Revolution, but doesn't that just illustrate the mistake Nintendo have made? The fact that their lack of a presentation is already putting people off?

And if the Revolution controller is the big thing, then they wouldn't have been overshadowed by Sony and Microsoft. It would have been the big headline grabbing hook for everyone. As it stands now, they're being horribly overshadowed, because no one has anything to talk about concerning Revolution, except that they don't know anything.

Personally I think Nintendo have made a mistake. I also don't agree with this whole "cheap" console idea. It didn't work with Gamecube I don't think it'll work with Revolution
