He may not exactly be excellent, but he is a great prospect and has a lot of potential; Most players reach their peak at around the age of 28 anyway.

And what's the saying- 'If you're good enough, you're old enough'? He's still developing, so his flashes of skill will soon become more frequent.

yes its true..did u see how fast wilkinson ran around that pitch all game doing EVERYTHING...man why cant people just admit, yes hes are main player but the whole team played great[not so great in the 2nd half]. You should be happy cause lets face it the scots,welsh and irish are never gonna win anything big so englands rugby team are the only team that can make the Uk proud.
we all suck at football and win never win the world cup or the euro cup so at least we can win at the rugby.

I agree with AJ, that in some ways they are a one man team - without Wilko they would have found it very difficult to win today or against France.

Unfortunatly this is the only World Cup i'll ever get see won by an England National Team.
