There hasn't been a spaceworld since the Mario Sunshine/Wind Waker announcement. So the reply from a slew of forum users who will remain nameless declared "There has not been a Spaceworld in years, admit it Nintendo have screwed up". "Don't be so optimistic Dringo" and so forth.
Now both Miyamoto and Kaplin has confirmed that Spaceworld is certainly on the cards and Iwata has declared all the revolution info will be released by the end of the year.
And after hardcore reaction it seems almost essential.
I have to admit, that the new Nintendo console looks the best out of all of the rivals, and that makes a change!

What is the big deal? gerrid get a life! It is just a press conference! There are tonnes of press conferences all throughout the year! The PS3 games will not EVER be 35 times as powerful as the PS2 because developers can't afford it. Developers have already said that the games will cost a fortune to make and games prices will rise!

Why? Nintendo showed us a little, they showed us the system, talked about franchises, it's online service and what it plans to do. That should be enough to get us speculating, people talking... until Nintendo finally reveal all.
The 3 lads who I were talking to and showing the consoles too today said "For a Nintendo console that looks bloody amazing".
Why is it such a big deal to you? What is in your brain that makes you think E3 makes or breaks companies?
It was Nintendo's worst year for the Gamecube last year but their best E3.
Go figure.

I understand perfectly what you're saying. You're saying Nintendo have made a mistake by not showing enough Revolution.
All I'm saying is that it enables Nintendo to get into the press twice with 1 mini and 1 major announcement. Nintendo fans being "let down" by an announcement? Really???? Is it not time to perhaps stop wetting the Nappy and realising that you're throwing a fit over nothing.

But the actual physical games aren't going over the top, are they. Have you seen Gears of War? The reports on PD0? COD2? Everyone who sees them is blown away, and when the developers (not microsoft) say that the games are running on 30% power, people aren't just being fooled by specs anymore. There are real games that really look that amazing. It's not just hype, Dringo, it's not. When people see games like this they are literally blown away - look at te reaction to the PS3 conference.
I know the Revolution won't be able to compete with this, so Nintendo shouldn't unveil the revolution until they can actually let people play it - because he graphics won't impress anybody, not after the PS3 and 360. I used to think they should have shown everything, and by everything I mean playable on show floor, but obviously they weren't ready, so now I wish they hadn't shown us anything. I wish they'd just kept schtum and kept it all a mystery.
I am a die hard Nintendo fan. But I'm not worried over a no-show from Nintendo. It has happened several times before. This is a mega over-reaction to Nintendo biding their time until they've got some good demo's and so forth to show.

You're so stupid sometimes. Go look around any Nintendo forum - C-E, for example. It's full of Nintendo fans saying they've been let down and that the GC will be their last Nintendo console. I'm not saying that they're not stupid, I'm just saying that the reaction shows Nintendo have obviously made a mistake.
Don't insult me when you don't even understand what I'm saying, Dringo. It just makes you look like a fool.

It'd be for the Nintendo fans. And those that missed out on past Nintendo franchises.

The new controller is supposed to be revolutionary. And 2 to 3 times more powerful is great, the graphics will be amazing. Don't be led by Microsoft and Sony's specs. They are going over the top. If Nintendo push too much power game prices rise, and that is what will happen with the PS3 and X-box 360. Revolution will be cheap as chips.

What makes you think the Revolution can't do this? All Nintendo have said is that the graphics will be 2 to 3 times better and that technology is being used elsewhere. So with the online service, the ability to reduce slow down and loading times (something Miyamoto mentioned).
64 player Perfect Dark? No thanks.
If that appeals to you, you're supporting the wrong company. Nintendo's style is different. It will be different. I'm looking forward to Smash Brothers online, Animal Crossing online and Metroid Prime 3 more than anything on the rival systems.
And I haven't even seen them!

That's just retarded. Nintendo didn't show a console so they've "let us down"? Christ grow up!
> I realise that there's still time, but now Nintendo have to heal the

Wound??? For not showing much at a games show???
Good God! This is just ridiculous!
I'm getting a little tired of it all as well - it's all over now and what's done is done. We can't change what happens so we might as well just wait and see. Whatever their big innovation is I'm sure we'll al end up complaining about it, but buying it in the end anyway. As long as they don't take too long about it and get their heads down making some launch games everything will be fine.
I'll just be sad if I have to buy 2 consoles to get all the games I want. Although with a lovely new computer on the horizon, I might give up on console gaming all together and buy everything on PC. It's cheaper anyway.
But you're right, there are no "Nintendo no-show causes buzz at E3" headlines in the major press. I'm hoping there will be a good press coverage of the Revolution's revolutionary thing when it is announced though.
