Hoping the young, quick Scotland team can overcome the older but more experianced Holland.
If they hold Van Nistlerooy from making any progress, and our strikers (hopefully McFadden and Maloney) can nip past Frank de Boar and Michael Rieziger (sp) then we may stand a chance.
I predicte a 2-1 Scotland win at Hampden (McFadden(sc,Maloney(sc), Van Nistlerooy(ho)

holland wont miss ruud, as makaay is brilliant. the rampant dutch will beta a brave scotland 1-0 at hampden park, and will win 3-0 in holland to cruise into the 2004 finals. scotland had an unfortunate draw. better luck next time!!!

Ruud not playing wont make much difference.

Not when they can can pick from the likes of Van Hooijdonk, Makaay and van der Meyde to support kluivert.

Although 4/1 on a scotland win is tempting.

Ruud won't be starting the match since the bust up with 'the dick'

Advocaat's reason is that he doesn't want to play Kluivart and Ruud alongside each other upfront even though they are the perfect foil for each other and past match results show how cack Advocaat's tactics have been with Holland's getting some woeful results.

I strongly belive Scotland won't get a better chance to tame a wounded lion...
