Sean Connery IS Bond.

Oh God, yeah, I watched Die Another Day on Saturday. I fell asleep towards the end, no joke. Easily the worst Bond film I've ever seen. Although I've never been a fan of the Bond films really.

Brosnan is ok, but the films he has been in so far have been a mixed bag.

goldeneye was superb. the rest after that I could take or leave, and die another day is the worst piece of garbage ever to have the bond name on it.

invisible cars? parasailing on a tidal wave? come on, it's just going daft. I think the finest thing about the old bond films is the gorgeous locations, exotic cultures, comedy acting and evil henchman.

it all seems to be about massive explosions and laughable bad guys now.

I'm tied between Connery and Brosnan.

Connery was the first, and he defined Bond. Lazenby was a joke, and Moore just never felt right for the part I though. Brosnan however is similar to Connery. Got the same sort of edge if you know what I mean. I'm sure you don't.

I'm too young to remember most of the Connery Bonds, or the Moore films. In fact, I hated Bond as a kid, they bored the snot out of me.

Growing up in the late '80s, though, my favourite Bond film is Living Daylights with Timothy Dalton (though his second one was crap from what I remember of it) so I guess he's my favourite Bond. Though he wasn't very good at being the same kind of Bond Connery was, same with Brosnan I guess.
