In a bid to improve the standard of the posts in here I thought I would make an effort with this one. Just wanted to know what games changed the way you thought of games, which you struggled to put down etc.

Perhaps the brilliant multiplayer of Goldeneye or mario kart
The wonders of metal gear solid or driving in gran turismo
The online brilliance of SOCOM, Halo or something else?

So? What games gave you your favourite gaming moments?

Mine was when I first had my N64 and played Goldeneye 007. I played on that for hours and invited some of my mates round for a game.

We used to get lost on the levels at first, which made the game more fun. I also had dreamt about the game that night, which was kinda weird.

The best multiplayer game though, was Masrio Kart 64 when there were 4 of us. The last lap was always the best, as there was never a big gap from 1st and last, and we all used to save up green or red shells for that lap.

That was the good old days.

The phonecall right at the end of MGS 1... That was really cool the first time you heard it.
