It's not new news, but its fact, this forum has been dropping in standards for a long time now.

Its the replacement for all the closed chatrooms.

People are talking about their various mating rituals, thinking it amazing that they can type like a retard, and some even are ignoring the fact that Lycos have committed a terrible crime*!

As for the other forums, I have no problems with. But General Chat seems to be full of more testosterone induced banter than my mind when I be chatting to girls!

The worst thing is, most of you talking about your experiences have only just started growing hair in those regions! Yuk!

Anyway, I've said my peace.

*On the 'quirkies' section of Lycos, there is a news article about a bloke protesting whilst dressed as Spider-man. Lycos spelt the comic character's name as 'Spiderman'.

Yea well Life is for serious chat (and funny, but pointful chat), This area is just general "whatevers on your mind" stuff.

Agreed totally.

Everyone has the right to post what they want, and interest is a very subjective thing. If you're unhappy with the way the forums are, then lead by example rather than complaining.

I dont think anyone should really complain about the forums. Its people like us that makes the forums what they are. Wether it be boring or interesting. Everyone has different views on different things. Someone may find somethin boring someone else may find interesting sad, pathetic or ammusing.

And another thing, if you ask for help, ask a sencible question you get a very good responce. and a very fast one as well

I dont think this forum sucks at all, i do agree its gone down hill since the best thread GAD, but its still the most lively forum ive ever known.

So dont abuse the system again, or i'll be coming round your house with an omlet and 500 gherkins to throw at your windows.

I wouldn't leave, i would still come back and post, just not as often as i do now.
But if they did take them all away i really doubt that they would get any reviews and i think that about half the people who are here would leave.
