New boots, as some of you may know and I'm experiencing ererr 'problems'.

I have a little blister on the back of my right foot from using my new boots, it's obviously from the horrendoucly hard back bit of the boot.

I know that the backs are hard to stop studs in the Achilles, so...

Any ideas on what can be done to remedy my problem?

:-)

Yeah blister plasters is definitely the way forward. The one's that say they work like a second skin I can recommend.

See? Nike, officially, make crappy boots.

Look nice. Hurt like hell.

Adidas boots are partially opposite.

Still look nice. But they're really comfortable as well.

The same was happening with my boots aswell. Mine are also Nike, which is a first as I usually have Adidas.

I just wear a plaster on my heel now.

In the First World War soldiers softened their boots with their own urine, but I wouldn't go that far... :D

You could file the offending material to make i softer, but probably using a plaster or something will let it wear down in accordance to your foot.

Either that or try to soften down the backs of the boots.

Buy blister plasters and wear them under your socks.
Probably should ease up after a bit of use.

In that case, how do I take Permanent Marker off the sole of the shoe?
