In my household, I have three PCs connecting to the internet via a router including this one that I am using now. The problem that I am having is that all 3 computers connect to the network through the router fine however my one in particular will not connect to the internet, almost as if the router is blocking it from doing so...therefore, I have reset the router to its factory settings. That did NOT work! I am still having the problem and I know that all the configuration settings are fine as they are the same on every computer and have been before but I had to format my computer and reinstall everything and now, when I am going to set up all the stuff again, this has happened. Can anyone shed some light on what it may be as I am going nuts here and MESH Computers PLC don't wanna know either, so I am pretty stuck. Cheers peps.

I take it you use IE. Go into internet options in the tools menu and check the connections, might be that it is trying to use another connection.

Other than that maybe check firewall settings if you have one running as that might block the connection.

Yes I can access files and transfer them across the network to other PCs (which goes through the router) but it seems to be blocking the internet out, it just won't connect outside of the LAN whereas the other computers will.

Yes I have done all of that. I am running XP Home Edition. The thing is, I have done everything that I have done in the past (which worked) and now it isn't working and I can't understand it....
