In my household, I have three PCs connecting to the internet via a router including this one that I am using now. The problem that I am having is that all 3 computers connect to the network through the router fine however my one in particular will not connect to the internet, almost as if the router is blocking it from doing so...therefore, I have reset the router to its factory settings. That did NOT work! I am still having the problem and I know that all the configuration settings are fine as they are the same on every computer and have been before but I had to format my computer and reinstall everything and now, when I am going to set up all the stuff again, this has happened. Can anyone shed some light on what it may be as I am going nuts here and MESH Computers PLC don't wanna know either, so I am pretty stuck. Cheers peps.

Thank you to everyone however I have repaired the problem. It was a firewall corruption error.

Yes it is on and I think you will find that phi11ip was joking. N e way, it still isn't working and I can't understand why not. Something is wrong, i have checked all of the TCP/IP stuff and it is all fine but something, somewhere is stopping it. O well...if n e one else can come up with any ideas it wud be gladly appreciated.

Go into network connections in the control panel and go to the properties of your connection. and check the properties of the TCP/IP (also make sure the box is checked) and check how it gets the IP address (most get it automatically but it may be it has been entered incorectly)

Other than that I can't think what else it could be.

Nope I have checked both of them and neither of them are hindering the connection in any way and also I have tried it with different network cards and an external USB DSL modem...
