Could I borrow 650mb's of space from someone for about 2-3 days, please? I need it so I can upload a file for a friend to download.

I have tried various FTP clients but for some reason they don't work properly on my computer.

We tried MSN but we found upload speeds to be very slow (2kbs or 0.100k). And I'm on 1mb ADSL and he's on cable.

What is the image file off?
If someone uploads it and it is an ilegal file then they are the ones who deal with the consequences if caught so chances are not many will help out unless you give them more info.

Use MSN to transfer the file. You need to upload it to a website and then he needs to download it, so it would be quicker to transfer over MSN or even via IRC.

Only need space for really 1-2 days to make the swop.

Firstly, he lives in America so it would be too costly to send to him. Secondly, the file is a CD image file.

We are wanting to swop CD's with each other and thought this electronic way would be quicker.

Can't you put it on a CD for him?

If it's something illegal - I don't think people will be that impressed with hosting it on their webspace...
