Tomorrow is my last day at SR. Some of you will probably breath a sigh of relief at the fact that I won't be able to ban people anymore; some people might miss the fact that I can ;-)
I'm going to work for a company in London on more money with better prospects. Hopefully I'll find time to check back in and say hello and stuff.
So... you'll have to chase the others at SR to get an anti-spam measure in place.
Hrm, now to think of a usertype I can become after leaving.... ideas?
Still looking for a usertype to be though! Not long to go!
Are we in the pub yet? Err, well we were for lunch, not at the mo, will be back down there in a few hours.
Ahh, I'm getting paid to sit and "supervise". Hehe, this is the life ;-)
Aww go on, it's not much to ask.
*runs*

I don't know. What I do know is that the other forums I'm on/have been on, seem to have few problems, in fact the only bannings are generally when people ask about CD Key's, copied stuff and the like. I also know that these forums all have Sticky Forum Rules + FAQ's - hence I'm assuming it would have an effect here.
It wouldn't take long for someone to do, and the worst that happens is it does nothing. They could give it a trial run, if there is no difference after a month then get rid of it - worst that's been lost is a few hours (if that) work.

You think it'll get read any more as a sticky? If so, you're a fool.

Heh, taking the moral highground after getting warned for spamming? Don't make me laugh. I was well aware of the consequences of my actions, especially given the recent "hacker" debacle. As for all the other users? They knew the rules as well, and simply chose to ignore them. You can recite the rules all you want, but at the end of the day, people will choose to ignore them when the situation fits.

Yeah because we all read every bit of text before clicking ? Are you one of the few who read Microsoft Licence Agreements ? Doubt it, but by clicking we're all agreeing to it.

Says the person who was banned. Plus there has been many many regulars banned recently - Tribute, Tom, Hercules, Alec, Lawri, to name a few, not to mention a massive number of newbies and JATs. How is it in "everyone's face" ? If people are that easily offended then I'm surprised they ever manage to use the internet......
Sticking a message in everyone's face is an insult to all of the regular users who go day to day without infringing the rules already.
